What is the best way to work with several people at the same time on the same project in PubCoder? How can we manage versions properly?

You can start with a master file with the correct number of pages, blank at start.
Then each user can work on a chapter or defined set of pages and copy/paste them in the master file when finished or completed a session. Copy/pasting pages will also copy the assets used in those pages if needed -
