How to make the spaces between lines of text smaller please.. the size of text shrinks with font size

Hi Shelia,
In the top tool bar there is an icon with 3 lines separated by a small vertical double headed arrow. If you click on that a small dialogue box will open and you can type the line spacing value in... just highlight the text you want to change first then click on the icon.
