I have completed an app, but cannot seem to generated a APK when I click on the 'publish' option. I have tried this on two different computers and also tried to update and 'publish' an old app. Each time, it starts of fine then an error message pops up saying it could not build the APK file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Pubcoder, but this hasn't fixed the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when you reinstalled PubCoder, did you reinstall Android SDK as well?
I have the same problem. The Publishing process seems to work fine, until "Preparing APK..." which runs for a minute or so. Then, when it finishes I can see "Signing APK" for a second and then I get "Failed to build <book>.pubcoder. An error occurred while trying to build APK file." message.
I ran Android SDK Manager and update all packages as they recommend, but still - the same result. I can't find any log file that can indicate what's wrong, and nothing in the Event Viewer as well.
Any advise?

such problem happens when keystore file is not correct.
For example if you modify key name or key password or keystore password.
Please try restoring older values or generating a new keystore file.
This is the first time I'm trying this. I didn't really know what to put in these fields, so I simply made them up. What exactly are those passwords?
Ok, solved. Indeed, something didn't match in the keystore file, I regenerated it and now it works. Thanks!!
